Positions Available: Full‑Time & Part‑Time

Overview: Teaching Personnel are proud to be working exclusively with a small, welcoming primary school in CA17, who have approached us directly to support them in appointing two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for the remainder of the academic year.

Roles:

  • Full‑time role (Monday‑Friday) - Providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 1 with additional needs
  • Part‑time role - Flexible hours to be confirmed - Providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 6

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 support to pupils with SEN
  • Adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning needs
  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • Experience working with children, ideally within an SEN or school setting
  • Patient, nurturing, and resilient
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to use initiative
  • Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Valid enhanced DBS check
  • Child protection and prevent duty training (or will be provided)
