Long Term Futures are seeking a resilient and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time long-term temporary basis. The role itself is based in Croydon and would focus across both KS1 and KS2 delivering lessons and providing targeted interventions.
About the Role
- Delivering planned lessons across both KS1 and KS2 in the short absences of the Teacher
- Providing targeted interventions to students with ASD and other related SEN needs
- Offering support and guidance to other TAs within the classroom, ensuring consistency across the setting
- Ensuring the pupils are safe and secure at all times
Ideal Candidate Profile
- HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification or higher
- A creative approach to learning and the flexibility to adapt activities and strategies to meet the diverse needs of children
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with students across all year groups
- Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
- Proven experience delivering targeting interventions
- Flexibility to teach and work across all year groups and to be fluid in your day structure
