Part-time Head of Inclusion

Our client, a prestigious organisation located in Thundersley, Essex, is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join their team as a Part‑time Head of Inclusion. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our client’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.

As the Head of Inclusion, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across all levels of the organisation. You will work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and design innovative solutions to address any barriers to inclusion.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of best practices in diversity and inclusion, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in the workplace. You will be a skilled communicator, able to engage with employees at all levels and build strong relationships with external partners and community organisations.

Key responsibilities of the Head of Inclusion include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy aligned with our client’s values and objectives
  • Conducting regular assessments of the organisation’s diversity and inclusion practices and identifying areas for improvement
  • Designing and delivering training programmes to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion issues and promote inclusive behaviours
  • Collaborating with HR and other departments to ensure diversity and inclusion principles are embedded in all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Monitoring and reporting on diversity and inclusion metrics and providing regular updates to senior management
  • Representing our client at external events and conferences related to diversity and inclusion

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record of leading successful diversity and inclusion initiatives in a corporate setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • In‑depth knowledge of equality legislation and best practices in diversity and inclusion
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop data‑driven solutions
  • A passion for promoting equality and creating inclusive environments
