The role
We are hiring Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants for primary and specialist settings. You will support pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech & language and learning needs (EYFS-KS2) through structured interventions and classroom support.
What you will do:
- Deliver 1:1/small-group support and scaffolded learning
- Use visual schedules/now-next, task chunking and precision teaching
- Promote communication (PECS/Makaton exposure), social skills and independence
- Record progress against EHCP targets; liaise with teachers, SENCO and therapists
- Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies
Good degree backgrounds (any of the following):
- SEN/Inclusive Education
- Education/Primary Education
- Early Childhood Studies
- English
- Mathematics
- Psychology
- Speech & Language Therapy
- Child Development
