Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher for a secondary school in Harrow. The school has a supportive Geography department. Most of the timetable for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4. The position is open to both NQTs and experienced teachers.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location – Harrow, London
  • Position – Geography Teacher
  • Contract type – Permanent
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – GBP150 per day
  • Hours – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, plus parent evenings
  • Contract start date – 01/09/2026
  • Contract duration – Until the end of the academic year (ongoing)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
  • Up to date safeguarding training issued within the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child‑barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years
