Are you an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? We are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking all through - SEND school in Low Fell that is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, down syndrome and moderate learning difficulties.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with complex ASC needs
- Support communication, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
- Implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies
- Assist with personal care where required, ensuring dignity and safety
- Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
- Contribute to a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
