We are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher specialising in autism to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition within a nurturing, inclusive primary setting. This permanent role offers flexible part‐time hours, competitive pay, and a dedicated SEN allowance. The role is ideal for teachers who have experience supporting autistic children and learners with additional developmental or learning needs, particularly within EYFS and KS1.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver tailored learning programmes for pupils with Autism (ASC).
- Create structured, engaging lessons aligned with EHCP targets.
- Use evidence‐based SEN strategies to support communication, emotional regulation and learning.
- Work collaboratively with SEND staff, therapists and parents/carers.
- Contribute to a calm, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching pupils with Autism or additional needs.
- Strong understanding of SEND, EHCPs and inclusive practice.
- A positive, patient, child‐centred approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards.
- MPR salary (FTE £32,916 – £45,352) with actual salary £19,749 – £27,211 per annum.
