We are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Essex.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their early development, learning and confidence.
The role will involve:
- Supporting children within EYFS
- Working alongside the class teacher to support learning and development
- Helping deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where needed
- Supporting children's communication, language and social development
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Working closely with teachers and the wider school team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within EYFS or a primary school
- Experience supporting young children with their learning and development
- A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A relevant childcare or education qualification is desirable
