We are working with a warm and welcoming nursery in Colchester that is seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive team. - Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
- Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to individual needs and interests
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning and development records
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed
Qualifications:
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
- Has a genuine passion for working with young children
- Brings a caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
- Has a good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding (training can be provided)
- Previous nursery experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
