About the Role

This full‑time position plays a key role in the school\’s wrap‑around care provision. Working from approximately 9:00am each day, your shift will include evening cover, finishing at 6:00pm. As an integral part of the nursery team, you will contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting the Nursery Teacher and ensuring high‑quality daily care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Teacher in delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities across the Early Years curriculum
• Maintain a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment for all children
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, rest periods and personal care
• Communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents and staff
• Contribute to observations, developmental tracking and progress records

Candidate Requirements

• A Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (e.g. Diploma in Childcare and Education, Diploma for Early Years Educators)
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
• A genuine passion for supporting young children\’s development
• Strong communication skills, creativity and patience
• A proactive, collaborative approach to working within a team
