The school provides a nurturing, structured environment for pupils with ASC and associated needs, ensuring every learner receives personalised support and a curriculum that enables them to thrive.
About the Role
- Delivering MFL Teaching – Teach engaging, meaningful language lessons, with the ability to deliver Spanish to KS4 essential
- Differentiated Planning – Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet a wide range of SEND needs
- Supporting ASC Learners – Adapt approaches to support pupils with ASC, SEMH and ADHD
- Positive Behaviour & Engagement – Contribute to a structured, supportive environment that promotes confidence and progress
- Collaborative Practice – Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent, holistic support
- Building Relationships – Establish strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their learning journey
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject
- Experience teaching MFL across Key Stages (SEND experience desirable)
- Ability to teach Spanish to KS4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to differentiate effectively and support a range of learning needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- A reflective, proactive and nurturing approach
