The Opportunity

Long Term Futures are seeking an exceptional and experienced Head of School to lead an Outstanding SEN provision in the Ealing area. This is a rare and exciting leadership opportunity to drive excellence within a highly respected setting supporting pupils with complex needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, and communication difficulties. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning, and maintaining a strong culture of inclusion, safeguarding, and high expectations. This role is ideal for an ambitious leader ready to make a lasting impact within a specialist education environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure outstanding outcomes for all pupils
  • Lead and develop teaching, learning, and curriculum across the provision
  • Drive improvements in pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing
  • Manage and support staff, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture
  • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, SEND, and statutory requirements
  • Work closely with senior leadership, external agencies, and families
  • Oversee EHCP delivery, quality assurance, and provision standards
  • Contribute to whole-organisation development and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role (e.g., Deputy Head, Head of School, Assistant Head)
  • Strong experience within SEN or specialist education settings
  • Excellent knowledge of SEND legislation, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
  • Demonstrable impact on school improvement and pupil outcomes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and high standards
