Lotus Recruitment is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Doncaster.
You will help pupils build confidence, take part in learning and work towards individual goals through patient, consistent support.
Your responsibilities
- Support classroom learning individually and in small groups.
- Help pupils stay engaged and complete learning activities.
- Encourage positive relationships and communication.
- Support emotional regulation and appropriate behaviour.
- Promote independence and recognise pupil achievements.
What we're looking for
- Experience supporting young people in education, care, mentoring or youth work.
- A calm, resilient and approachable manner.
- The ability to maintain clear professional boundaries.
- A commitment to teamwork and safeguarding.
- Applicants with relevant sports coaching or behaviour support experience are also encouraged to apply.
