We are seeking an experienced and compassionate QTS Tutor to support a young person accessing Alternative Provision in the Codsall area of Staffordshire. This is a rewarding 1:1 role for someone who is confident working with learners with SEN and understands the importance of consistency, structure and relationship-building outside of a mainstream school setting.
The Student: A young person currently accessing Alternative Provision and requiring tailored academic support.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience.
- Experience supporting students with SEN is essential.
- Ability to deliver calm, structured and engaging 1:1 tuition.
- Strong understanding of Alternative Provision environments.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
Safeguarding & Eligibility:
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
Location: In-person support in Codsall, Staffordshire.
Hours: 6 hours per week. Tutoring takes place during our core hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-15:30. Immediate start available.
Pay: £30 per hour.
