Mainstream Primary School in Chorley (PR6) is seeking a Part Time Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026. This is a Fixed Term contract for the full academic year, offering part-time hours (16 - 20 hours per week) during term time only, with pay ranging from £14.25 to £16 per hour (paid weekly).
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across various subjects and activities. You will assist both individual children and small groups, helping to close gaps in learning and promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils' learning across a range of curriculum areas in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Assist class teachers with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
- Provide individual or small group support tailored to pupils' needs

- Help monitor and report on pupil progress and engagement

Essential Requirements
