Our client, a reputable educational institution located in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic team. As a Full-time HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within the school. Working closely with the teaching staff, you will be responsible for providing targeted intervention, small group support, and individualised assistance to students, ensuring they receive the attention and resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Delivering tailored learning activities and lesson plans to support the curriculum, as directed by the class teacher
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, focusing on areas where they need additional help or challenge
- Assisting with the assessment and monitoring of student progress, contributing to the evaluation of their learning and development
- Collaborating with the teaching team to identify and address the unique needs of each student, implementing strategies to foster their engagement and success
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to student progress, behaviour, and any other relevant information
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Skills
