We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a welcoming and inclusive school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Support students with academic, social, and emotional development
- Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and positive manner
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
