The Role

  • Deliver one-to-one or small group GCSE-level tuition (core subjects such as English, Maths and/or Science)

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs
  • Build positive, trusting relationships to support academic progress and confidence
  • Provide feedback on student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience tutoring or teaching GCSE-level students
  • A patient, empathetic approach to working with vulnerable young people
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate learning
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Previous experience with SEN or alternative provision is highly desirable
