We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Support Assistant to join a highly supportive and inclusive SEN school in Bromley. Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex learning needs
- Support children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines where required, always ensuring dignity and respect
- Adapt and deliver learning activities to meet individual needs and abilities
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support holistic pupil development
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with SEN, complex needs, or vulnerable children / adults (desirable, not essential)
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach, even in challenging situations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative
- Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to thrive
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
