Pay: £14.30‑15.50 per hour (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with individual pupils and small groups across the primary age range
- Support children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Help pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation and positive relationships
- Deliver nurture‑based interventions in line with the school’s nurture provision
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children in a primary or nurture/SEMH setting
- Calm, patient and empathetic approach
- Understanding of attachment, trauma‑informed practice and nurture principles (desirable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
