The predicted salary is between 15.5 - 15.5 £ per hour.

Hours: Full time (term time)

Start date: September

Pay: £14.30‑15.50 per hour (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with individual pupils and small groups across the primary age range
  • Support children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Help pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation and positive relationships
  • Deliver nurture‑based interventions in line with the school’s nurture provision
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
  • Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children in a primary or nurture/SEMH setting
  • Calm, patient and empathetic approach
  • Understanding of attachment, trauma‑informed practice and nurture principles (desirable)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
