Pay: £160 - 230 per day (paid to scale)

Working Hours/Days: 8:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher with EYTS or QTS? Do you have direct experience teaching in a nursery or Early Years setting? We are working with a welcoming primary school in Hockley that are looking for a confident practitioner to join their Early Years team and create a joyful, stimulating learning environment for their youngest learners. You will be joining a well-resourced setting with a supportive leadership team who value creativity and a child-led approach. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher who loves Early Years education and is looking to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a nursery class with planning, teaching, and assessment responsibilities
  • Creating engaging, play-based learning opportunities tailored to the EYFS framework
  • Supporting each child's individual development through observation and next steps
  • Working closely with support staff, parents, and SLT to ensure strong outcomes
  • Contributing to a caring and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 6 qualification in an Early Years related subject (EYTS or QTS also considered)
  • Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teacher in the UK
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Confident classroom management and a nurturing approach
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
