Location: Aston, B6 Birmingham

Pay Rate: £110 – 120

Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs across different year groups
• Implementing strategies for behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions tailored to individual needs
• Monitoring, tracking and reporting on behavioural and emotional progress
• Collaborating with the SENCO and wider pastoral team to shape support plans

What We\’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour (primary or secondary welcome)
• A calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Confidence contributing to and working with Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
• Ability to use ABC charts, tracking tools or pastoral logs to monitor behaviour and identify patterns
• Understanding of restorative practices, de-escalation techniques, and SEMH interventions suited to a primary setting
• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
