We're currently working with a number of supportive secondary schools across Fleet who are looking for confident and reliable Student Cover Supervisors to join them on a flexible basis. This opportunity is perfect for university students, graduates, or individuals looking to gain valuable experience working with young people while fitting work around their studies or other commitments. If you're considering a future in teaching, education, psychology, or youth support - or simply want rewarding and flexible work - this role is a great way to build experience and confidence in a school setting. No previous classroom experience is required. Full support and training will be provided before you begin.
As a Student Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons during teacher absences and help ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout the school day.
Responsibilities- Supervising classes using pre-set lesson work
- Managing classroom behaviour positively and professionally
- Supporting students to stay on task and complete activities
- Following school behaviour and safeguarding procedures
- Creating a calm and productive classroom environment
- Providing lesson feedback to teaching staff
