A supportive and inclusive Primary School in West London is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs. This role is focused on consistency, relationship-building and helping the pupil access learning successfully throughout the school day. The school has strong SEND systems in place and a collaborative staff team who work closely to support both pupils and support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs
  • Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation
  • Helping the pupil access the curriculum in class
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour
