A supportive and inclusive Primary School in West London is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs. This role is focused on consistency, relationship-building and helping the pupil access learning successfully throughout the school day. The school has strong SEND systems in place and a collaborative staff team who work closely to support both pupils and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs
- Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation
- Helping the pupil access the curriculum in class
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour
- Maintaining a calm, patient and consistent approach
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced Learning Support Assistants
- SEND Teaching Assistants with 1:1 experience
