We are working with a specialist setting in Norbury, Croydon looking for an Autism Support Assistant to support pupils with autism and communication needs. This role is for someone who understands autism support beyond just having it written on a CV. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026. The school needs someone patient, structured and able to support pupils who may need visual routines, sensory support and calm communication.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with ASD and communication needs
- Helping pupils follow routines and access learning
- Using calm, consistent support strategies
- Working alongside experienced SEN staff and teachers
