SEND Teaching Assistant – Barking and Dagenham
Senovo is building a shortlist for current and upcoming temporary SEN assignments in Barking and Dagenham from now through December 2026. Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £95–£115 per day PAYE
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Contract: Temporary, school-based and on-site
The work may involve autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. Key responsibilities include:
- adapt tasks under teacher direction
- deliver individual and small-group interventions
- support communication and participation
Experience: Recent SEND experience is preferred; strong relevant transferable experience may be considered.
Qualifications: Level 2/3 TA or SEND training is desirable; QTS is not required.
You must be able to work in the UK and provide suitable references. Successful applicants need an enhanced child-workforce DBS on the Update Service or must be willing to complete a new application. All roles are subject to safeguarding and compliance checks.
