SEN Design and Technology Teacher – Barnet
Senovo is recruiting an SEN Design and Technology Teacher for a supportive specialist school in Barnet. This is an engaging opportunity to help pupils build practical confidence, creativity and independence through well-structured Design and Technology lessons.
What you will do
- Plan and deliver accessible Design and Technology lessons for pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Adapt practical activities, resources and assessment to individual learning profiles.
- Maintain a calm, safe workshop environment and promote positive participation.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider school team.
About you
- Qualified Teacher Status is required for this teaching role.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology, ideally within SEN or inclusive education.
- Strong classroom practice, safeguarding awareness and a patient, encouraging approach.
Pay: £185–£265 per day PAYE. Contract: Full time. Location: Barnet.
