We are supporting a specialist SEMH secondary setting to recruit an SEN Teacher to join their established team working with young people aged 11–18. This is a small, purpose‑built provision with a strong emphasis on character development, emotional regulation, and long‑term outcomes for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

The school supports a small cohort of pupils, allowing for genuinely personalised education and strong relationships. The ethos centres on nurturing potential, improving quality of life, and helping young people re‑engage with education in a meaningful way. Staff work within a clear values framework focused on community, relationships, trust, aspiration, and personal development.

This role would suit a secondary‑trained teacher, SEN teacher, or primary‑trained teacher who is confident working with secondary‑aged pupils with SEMH needs. You will deliver a core curriculum at KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils to achieve qualifications ranging from Entry Level through to Level 1, GCSE or Level 2 equivalents, depending on need and pathway. Alongside subject delivery, the role includes contributing to personal development, PSHE, careers and character‑based learning, supporting pupils’ wider development beyond academics.
