We are working with a structured SEMH school in Enfield looking for a Behaviour Support TA who can handle challenges without escalating situations. This is not a passive classroom support role. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026. You will be supporting pupils who need clear boundaries, calm adults and consistent routines. Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEMH, behaviour needs and additional learning needs
- Helping pupils stay regulated and engaged in learning
- Working with teachers, pastoral staff and behaviour leads
- Providing long‑term, consistent work rather than random day‑to‑day cover
Qualifications
- A calm, firm and reliable personality
- Experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, PRU/AP or behaviour support
- Ability to de‑escalate, not inflame situations
- Thick skin, patience and a professional mindset
