A specialist SEN setting in Streatham, Lambeth is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a hands-on SEN role for someone confident supporting pupils with more complex needs. The school needs someone caring, resilient and confident working with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care or structured routines.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP-linked needs
  • Helping pupils access learning and daily routines
  • Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff
  • Providing consistent, patient and reliable support

Qualifications

  • SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
  • Someone comfortable with practical support
  • Patience, resilience and strong communication
  • A person who can stay calm and consistent throughout the day

Pay: £95 - £120 per day

Location: Streatham, Lambeth (SW2 1RW)

Start date: September 2026
