A specialist SEN setting in Chelsea, Kensington and Chelsea is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a hands-on SEN role for someone confident supporting pupils with more complex needs. The role requires caring, resilience, and confidence working with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care, or structured routines.

What the role involves:

  • Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP-linked needs
  • Helping pupils access learning and daily routines
  • Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Providing consistent, patient, and reliable support

What we’re looking for:

  • SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
  • Someone comfortable with practical support
  • Patience, resilience and strong communication
  • A person who can stay calm and consistent throughout the day
