A specialist SEN setting in Richmond upon Thames is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a hands-on SEN role for someone confident supporting pupils with more complex needs. Responsibilities
- Support pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP-linked needs
- Help pupils access learning and daily routines
- Work closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff
- Provide consistent, patient and reliable support
Qualifications
- SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
- Comfortable with practical support
- Patience, resilience and strong communication
- Ability to stay calm and consistent throughout the day
