A secondary school in Cheam, Sutton is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026. This role is ideal for someone who can support learning, manage pupil relationships professionally and help students access the classroom without adding pressure to teachers.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEN, EHCPs, ASD or SEMH needs
- Working across lessons with teachers and support staff
- Helping pupils stay focused and regulated
- Providing consistent classroom and small group support
Requirements
- School-based support experience or strong transferable experience
- A calm, mature and reliable approach
- Confidence supporting secondary-aged pupils
- Someone who can follow direction but also use initiative
Pay: £90 - £110 per day
