We are currently looking for a Senior Windows & Linux Engineer for a long-term freelance opportunity with an international client.
Working pattern: 2 days onsite in Glasgow, 3 days remote per week
Duration: 12 months initially, with long-term potential
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
- Experience with patching, hardening and system administration
- Automation/scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Bash
- Experience with VMware or other virtualisation technologies is a plus
- Experience in energy, utilities, telecommunications or other critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in complex enterprise environments and can take ownership of infrastructure operations, troubleshooting and technical improvements.
