Senovo is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant for a welcoming SEN school in Greenwich. The role suits someone who enjoys helping children communicate more confidently and participate fully in school life.
The role
- Deliver communication activities under the guidance of qualified therapists and teaching staff.
- Support pupils using visual systems, AAC and structured language programmes.
- Record progress and share useful observations with the multidisciplinary team.
- Help embed communication strategies across lessons and daily routines.
About you
- Relevant experience supporting children with speech, language or communication needs is welcomed.
- You are patient, observant and confident following agreed therapy programmes.
- You work well with teachers, therapists, families and support colleagues.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £110 - £145 per day PAYE.
Contract: Full time.
Location: Greenwich.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and complete Senovo’s compliance process, including suitable references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.
