Sensory Regulation Teaching Assistant – Hackney
A supportive SEN school in Hackney is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can help pupils regulate, engage and access learning throughout the school day.
The role
- Deliver agreed sensory circuits and regulation activities.
- Use movement breaks, visual cues and practical resources consistently.
- Support learning in class and during individual or small-group sessions.
- Share clear observations with teachers and therapy colleagues.
What you will bring
- Experience with autism, sensory needs or complex learning needs.
- A calm, responsive and encouraging approach.
- Strong teamwork and safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
Appointment is subject to references, right-to-work checks and an enhanced child-workforce DBS.
