Sensory Processing Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon Location: Hillingdon Contract: Temporary Pay: £105–£135 per day PAYE
The opportunity A welcoming SEN school in Hillingdon is seeking a committed professional to help pupils use sensory strategies that improve comfort, attention and access to learning.
What you will do
- Prepare sensory resources and structured regulation activities.
- Support pupils to use agreed strategies safely and consistently.
- Adapt the learning environment with guidance from teaching and therapy staff.
- Record engagement and communicate relevant observations.
What you will bring
- Relevant experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
- A calm, reliable approach and strong communication with colleagues.
- Sound professional boundaries and safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
