Senovo is recruiting an SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a positive specialist school in Waltham Forest. The role offers responsibility, variety and the chance to lead purposeful learning with strong support from the class team.
- Lead planned learning activities for individuals and small groups.
- Adapt resources and teaching approaches to pupils’ communication and learning needs.
- Support assessment, progress recording and consistent classroom routines.
- Provide confident cover and guidance when directed by the class teacher.
About you
- HLTA experience or substantial SEN classroom experience is strongly preferred.
- You are confident leading learning while working within agreed plans and boundaries.
- You communicate well and bring a calm, reliable approach to the school day.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £120 - £155 per day PAYE. Contract: Full time. Location: Waltham Forest.
