SEN Functional Skills Teacher – CroydonHelp young people connect English, maths and employability-related learning with practical everyday goals through engaging, accessible teaching in a specialist setting.
What you will do
- Plan and teach differentiated functional-skills lessons.
- Use practical contexts and clear assessment to build confidence and progress.
- Adapt resources around individual communication and learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
What you will bring
- QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong functional-skills knowledge and inclusive classroom practice.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
- Sound safeguarding judgement and dependable teamwork.
Contract: Full-time contractPay: £180–£250 per day PAYERight-to-work, references and enhanced child-workforce DBS checks apply.
