SEN English Teacher – Barnet
Create accessible, purposeful English learning that strengthens communication, literacy and confidence for pupils with a range of additional needs.
What you will do
- Plan and teach differentiated English lessons around individual starting points.
- Use engaging texts, structured language activities and accessible assessment.
- Create a calm classroom with clear routines and ambitious expectations.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist colleagues.
What you will bring
- QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong English curriculum knowledge and inclusive teaching practice.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
- Clear communication and excellent safeguarding judgement.
Contract: Full-time contract
Pay: £180–£250 per day
