Senovo is recruiting an SEMH Learning Mentor for a supportive specialist school in Hackney. This is an opportunity to build trusted relationships and help pupils re-engage with learning, routines and positive school experiences.
Role
- Provide consistent mentoring and learning support for pupils with social, emotional and mental-health needs.
- Help pupils regulate, reflect and return successfully to learning.
- Deliver planned individual or small-group activities focused on engagement and confidence.
- Share observations with teaching and pastoral colleagues to maintain consistent support.
About you
- Experience in SEMH education, youth work, mentoring, behaviour support or care is welcomed.
- You remain calm under pressure and use respectful, restorative approaches.
- You understand boundaries, safeguarding and the importance of reliable routines.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £100 - £130 per day PAYE.
Contract: Full time.
Location: Hackney.
