Senovo is recruiting a PMLD Teaching Assistant for a caring specialist school in Havering.
The role provides consistent support for pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities in a well-resourced, team-focused environment.
The role
- Support learning, communication, mobility and personal-care routines with dignity.
- Follow individual education, health and therapy plans.
- Use sensory activities and responsive interaction to encourage engagement.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, nurses and family-facing professionals.
About you
- Experience supporting people with PMLD, complex needs, care needs or disabilities is welcomed.
- You are compassionate, dependable and comfortable with practical support.
- Relevant moving-and-handling or personal-care training is advantageous.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £100 - £130 per day PAYE.
Contract: Full time.
Location: Havering.
