A specialist SEN school in Croydon is seeking a compassionate support assistant to help pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities access sensory learning and meaningful daily routines.
What you will do
- Support sensory activities, communication programmes and positioning routines.
- Provide respectful personal-care support where required.
- Notice and record pupils’ responses, preferences and progress.
- Work alongside teachers, therapists and care staff.
What you will bring
- Experience with PMLD, complex needs, care or specialist education.
- Patience, dignity and strong professional boundaries.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
