Help pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities communicate preferences, engage with sensory learning and take an active part in school life.
What you will do
- Use objects of reference, intensive interaction and agreed communication systems.
- Support sensory learning, positioning and individual programmes.
- Recognise and record small but meaningful responses.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and care colleagues.
What you will bring
- Relevant PMLD, complex-needs or care experience.
- A patient, attentive and respectful approach.
- Reliable teamwork and safeguarding practice.
- QTS is not required for this teaching-assistant role.
