Senovo is recruiting a Pastoral Support Assistant for a welcoming specialist education setting in Islington. This is a consistent, pupil-focused opportunity for someone who wants to make a practical difference while working as part of an experienced school team.
The role
- Provide day-to-day pastoral support for pupils who need help with engagement and wellbeing.
- Reinforce positive routines, attendance and readiness to learn.
- Offer calm mentoring while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
- Share relevant observations with teaching, pastoral and safeguarding colleagues.
About you
- Experience in education, youth work, mentoring, care or pastoral support is useful.
- You are approachable, consistent and able to build trust professionally.
- You communicate clearly and understand safeguarding responsibilities.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £95 - £115 per day PAYE.
Contract: Full time.
Location: Islington.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and complete Senovo’s compliance process, including suitable references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.
