Senovo is recruiting a School-Based Art Therapist for a specialist education setting in Lewisham. This part-time opportunity offers meaningful therapeutic work with children and young people who benefit from creative, relationship-based support.
The role
- Provide individual and small-group art therapy within an agreed school timetable.
- Complete assessment, formulation, therapeutic planning and appropriate clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with education staff, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Contribute to safeguarding, risk management and reviews of pupil progress.
About you
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in art psychotherapy is required.
- Current HCPC registration and experience working with children or young people are essential.
- You bring reflective practice, sound clinical boundaries and confident multidisciplinary working.
- QTS is not required for this therapy role.
Pay: £38 - £52 per hour PAYE.
Contract: Part time.
Location: Lewisham.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and complete Senovo’s compliance process, including suitable references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.
