Senovo is recruiting a patient and reliable Teaching Assistant for a primary SEN school in Lewisham. You will provide consistent 1:1 support, helping a pupil access learning, communicate effectively and feel settled throughout the school day.
The role
- Deliver tailored 1:1 support linked to the pupil’s EHCP and classroom goals.
- Support communication, engagement and positive routines.
- Adapt activities under the direction of the class teacher.
- Record progress and work closely with the wider SEN team.
About you
- Experience supporting children with autism, SLCN or other additional needs.
- Calm, attentive and able to build a secure professional relationship.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to complete Senovo’s compliance process, including references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.
