Speech and Language Therapy Assistant – HounslowLocation: HounslowContract: ContractPay: £120–£165 per day PAYEThe opportunityA supportive SEN school in Hounslow is seeking a speech and language therapy assistant to help pupils strengthen functional communication and participation throughout lessons and daily routines.
What you will do
- Deliver delegated communication activities under the guidance of a qualified therapist.
- Prepare visual resources and model agreed communication strategies.
- Support individual and small-group sessions and record pupil responses.
- Share observations with therapy and teaching colleagues.
What you will bring
- Experience supporting children with speech, language or communication needs.
- Confidence using visual communication approaches and following therapy plans.
- A patient, engaging manner and sound safeguarding practice.
- QTS is not required for this therapy-support role.
