Senovo is recruiting a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a welcoming specialist education setting in Hounslow. This is a consistent, pupil-focused opportunity for someone who wants to make a practical difference while working as part of an experienced school team.
The role
- Build positive, professional relationships with pupils who need consistent adult support.
- Help pupils regulate emotions, follow routines and re-engage with learning.
- Use calm de-escalation and agreed behaviour-support strategies.
- Work closely with teaching, pastoral and safeguarding colleagues.
About you
- Experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, care or behaviour support is useful.
- You are calm, reliable and confident maintaining clear professional boundaries.
- You communicate well and respond thoughtfully to challenging situations.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £95 - £115 per day PAYE. Contract: Full time. Location: Hounslow.
