Autism Support Assistant – Tower Hamlets
Senovo is recruiting an Autism Support Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Tower Hamlets. You will help pupils with autism and communication needs participate confidently in learning and school life.
The role
- Support pupils in lessons, structured activities and transitions.
- Use visual supports, clear language and consistent routines.
- Encourage communication, independence and emotional regulation.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapy colleagues.
About you
- Experience supporting autistic children or young people in education, care or community settings.
- Patient, observant and responsive to individual communication needs.
- Reliable with sound safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to complete Senovo’s compliance process, including references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.
